We vsnl mail love what we do! We are a bespoke furniture company who make solid timber furniture from recycled timber and sustainably managed forestry sources. We design furniture to last. If you have a problem we’ll fix it. If you’re not happy with your order we’ll remake it for you. Our aim is to create furniture that has integrity, simplicity and strength.
The timber we choose to use is predominantly recycled australian or sustainably sourced new timber. We believe that timber furniture production from sustainable plantations and recycling is the best way of producing low or no footprint in the future. We use no toxic chemicals.
We are forty five people with a passion for what we do, headed up by Mark and Louella Tuckey who live near the store in Sydney with their 2 daughters and a menagerie of animals. We only employ people vsnl mail with a passion for furniture. Mark started the business 25 years ago as ‘ancient modes’ with $200, a blue F-100 truck (which he still has and loves) and some recycled timber picked up in the truck from building sites. he had a desire to be engaged in an environmentally friendly creative endeavour that would enable him to use his head, heart and hands. He is still his own boss and is involved in all aspects of the business. Mark personally vsnl mail guarantees and approves all designs. Louella came on board in 2005. Her background is furniture and interior design and she is now involved in most aspects of the business, especially the creative. Her focus is design and the look and feel of the business. In 2006 they re-branded as MARK TUCKEY and together they work everyday to ensure that the business stays on track creating beautiful furniture vsnl mail – for life.
