Here we take a little copas break until 06/01 but the schedule for January is a must. We wish a great New Year to all and we hope you enjoy the summer here in 2015.
The guitarist Davy Mooney, residing in Brooklyn, back to São Paulo and presents the musical sophistication of New York with the suíngue New Orleans. Their repertoire includes songs from his latest album, "Perrier St." and a taste of the next, "Off the Gridiron: Solo Guitar Live in New Orleans."
His album "Perrier St." refers copas to a street in his hometown, where he studied as a young man in New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. The work musically combines your memories with the journey that followed the transition from New Orleans to Brooklyn. The album features the participation copas of jazz musician Brian Blade.
Davy was a student of Monk Institute of Jazz Performance and recorded with guitarist copas John Pizzarelli the duo Last Train Home. Toured Germany and Switzerland with the Quartet vibraphonist Tim Collins and also traveled to India with Herbie copas Hancock, Chaka Khan, Dee Dee Bridgewater and other great musicians.
