Research Report - a new species endemic to Taiwan Aegista diversifamilia including breathing land snail genus in the family land Bradybaenidae. Aegista diversifamilia have a shell from 0.97 to 1.68 cm height and width from 1.98 to 3.24 cm. Eggshell thin but solid, glazed with chestnut brown or yellowish brown, usually tapered and light brown on the outskirts of the spiral ribbon. Lay white eggs round, diameter 3 mm and 20-30 grains once lay. Snails commonly found in soil or under leaf litter shady, moist environment in lowland forests perennials.
