CHINA: The groundbreaking ceremony for a 25m rail vehicle component plant in Shanghai is planned for December, Voith announced on March 31. In 2007 Voith Turbo opened a drive component production site in Shanghai. The group also holds 50% stakes in Voith Lutong Urban Rail Gearbox Technology in Changchun, and Scharfenberg coupler producer Voith Schaku KTK Coupler Technology in Shanghai.
