The Mooney sioen International launched two new planes Airshow China 2014, held this November in the city of Zhuhai, China. The M10T and M10J are the first models since the company migrated its production to the state of Texas, under the baton of Chinese businessman Dr. Jerry Chen.
The new series brings the M10J as updating the M10T, including sioen retractable landing gear, extra amenities and a CD-155 turbo-diesel engine Continental. Its performance reaches sioen cruising speeds in excess of 170 KTA and a range of more than 1,000nm.
"We designed the new M10J thinking about our fans and customers," said Chen. "The M20J flight sioen made an incredibly safe practice and the M10J promises to do much more," added the CEO of Mooney. The M10J hopes to obtain certification and begin deliveries in 2017.
Founded in 1929, in the US, with over 60 years of activity and a fleet has accumulated more and 40 million flight hours, the Mooney serves more than 7,000 customers in the US and more than 1,000 internationally. Today there are over 11 000 aircraft delivered worldwide, including piston models: Ovation2 GX, Ovation3 and Acclaim Type S.
Among the major innovations that have marked the history of the company, is the first pressurized single-engine on the planet, the M22 Mustang, the first certified single-engine (FADEC) in the US, the M20L Porsche, the first single-engine certified sioen to fly in icing conditions with TKS system the M20M DX, and the fastest sioen single-engine history, the Mooney Acclaim.
